VOLUNTEER
Do you love the great outdoors, want to see forests flourish, and don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty? If so, tree planting might be the right volunteer program for you. One tree at a time, you can grow new forests and help restore areas that have been affected by deforestation — which, sadly, occurs in much of the world. There are a variety of different and worthy program types in which you can volunteer.
Tree planting volunteer placements involve many different responsibilities, depending on the program you choose and the region’s needs. Your responsibilities could include:
- Working in a tree nursery
- Educating communities on growing and protecting trees
- Educating kids and conducting seminars in schools
- Or, helping with reforestation and planting trees.
Tree planting programs often overlap with poverty reduction and general community development initiatives, as well.
Whatever you end up choosing, having the desire to save the planet is a commendable goal, especially when an estimated 18 million acres of forest are being cleared each year.

We are looking to recruit a group of volunteer planting supervisors to support our tree planting season – could you be one of them?
As our next planting season approaches, we’re looking for some enthusiastic volunteer planting supervisors to help us deliver our work. If you’d like to help out, fantastic! Read on to find out how to apply.
Successful applicants will:
- Lead a small group of volunteers in planting trees
- Support and motivate other volunteers
- Ensure safe planting in your group
- Be an ambassador for Grow Trees Pakistan
- Make our volunteers feel welcome and supported
No previous experience of trees or planting is needed, we will provide a training day and support at the events. We are looking for welcoming, inclusive people who are willing to learn new skills, lead on an activity and get stuck in.

How to help!
It is very important to reach out to our coming generations and explaining to them about the importance of trees and deforestation. It is therefore that we like to work with schools and teachers. Our aim is to spread awareness through education and get students involved with reforestation activities.
If you are interested in your school participating in one of our tree planting events OR for one of our educators to come out to your school and teach a class of yours about the importance of planting trees, deforestation and its effects and advantages of reforestation then please reach out to us by filling out the below form:
